Heeeey!

I apologize for not posting for two weeks, I’ve been pretty busy. Now I am here! There’s lots to talk about…

Last Friday I spent the night with my buddy Maris! We were so hyper, we stayed up till 1:30 watching YouTube videos. YouTube is very entertaining sometimes. xP Anyway, we listened to this really funny song by Fred called ‘Christmas Cash’. Fred isn’t my favorite person that posts videos, but I could sing along to this song all night! xD The video and lyrics are a tad strange, I think he has a bit of time on his hands, but the song rocks.

“OH OH OH OH”… Um… Where was I? Oh yea, well on Saturday we went to the high school football game. Very depressing game, we were 15-15, and during the last seven seconds the opposing team got a touchdown!!! Augh.

The rest of the weekend I was working on my Deadly Disease Project, I got typhus (not typhoid). It’s spread by fleas or the inhalation of louse feces… Or… Droppings. HA! I get stuck with all the unique projects. x’D We did the project in a PowerPoint, and the part I was dreading was the length. 15-20 slides. 8-10 minutes. Seriously, who wants to listen to a project for 10 minutes explaining that it’s spread by LICE POO?! I presented Tuesday, and I got an A! I was so proud of my louse feces project. x’D

Yesterday (Friday), I went to the high school production of “Beauty and the Beast” with Adam, my favorite Disney movie!! It went very well actually. :D As usual I was a little nervous at first (I really was this time because we’d be alone, not including the strangers around us xD), but we got talking and it wasn’t bad. No awkward silences, yussss!  

Before it started he told me there was this part at the beginning that would make you jump, but he wouldn’t tell me what it was so he wouldn’t “ruin the suspense.” x’D He said, “If you get freaked out just jump into my arms!” LOL That didn’t happen, but I jumped really high into my seat… twice.

Typically they pass out roses at “Beauty and the Beast”. Ever since I saw it when I was in elementary school I thought that would be so sweet to get one. While he was in the little boy’s room during intermission (ROFL) I was talking to Ash, and when he came back he gave me one!! All I could saw was “awww” and blush. I need to stop wearing blush around him, because I really don’t need it. LOL They weren’t real, they were fake (and if you press a button they glow ), so I will be able to treasure it always. xD And guess what? It was our 3 month anniversary! haha

Today, I will be seeing my cousin, and we’ll be going to an amusement park that’s about an hour away! YAY! I might even see my friend Beth there too. Abbz and I ride everything there, so it’ll rock.

My dad listens to the singer Imogen Heap. The other day I heard this song while riding in the car, and loved it! So enjoy

Right now I am PSYCHED!

That’s right, our Jr. High Theatre II is performing tonight (Thursday)! The play is called “Our Town” by Thornton Wilder, I’ve never heard of it until I found out they were doing it this fall. What will make it even more special is that I have some really close friends that are in the play, which makes it even more fun to see people you know on stage. Ashlyn is one of the leads, Shelby is Ashlyn’s brother ( ), Logan as her friend, and Adam… Is her father. HA! It’s gonna be great. x’D Morgan is my ‘date’ to this event. Shhh… Don’t tell Adam.

As usual, LOVED IT. It was entertaining, had a few laughs, almost started crying.. I wasn’t the only one!! Everyone did great, this leaves me very excited for the next one in the Spring: Fiddler on the Roof!!! I’ve got to watch the movie now…! When Morgan and I were walking out to the car Adam comes running out saying, “See ya Maddie!!!”  When I think about it: How many guys will call that across the street? The sweet ones!!! haha

On Friday, we always have this Fun Friday during our advisory time, I guess the fun part is getting to talk. xD Our team was able to go to the gym. You have the choice to play basketball or chat. I’m sure you know that I’ll be chatting. xP But somehow… someone got me down there. O.O There I am awkwardly following Adam down the steps  ( ) when I find out that we’re playing Knockout. Good, because I would STINK if it was regular basketball. In Knockout everyone is in a line, and it’s one on one. The first person to make a basket passes it on to the next person. If the next person also makes a shot, then the other one is out. Make sense? Once it started, I made it in just a few shots!

“WOO!” *the most awesome high five in the history of the world… ever *

Our conversation. haha! I think he was surprised in my once in a lifetime showing of athleticism in my veins. In the end, I got 2nd place! “Maddie, you’re a ballar!!” ROFL Inside joke. In the next game one of his friends got me out, and Adam jokingly started shaking his head in a disapproving way to him. It kind of reminded me of Pedro’s cousin on Napoleon Dynamite. LOL!

Later that night, I visited Abby, Abbie, and Amy for Abby’s 16th birthday party! It was a ton of fun to see them again. As usual we did some dancing, movie watching, and plain random talking. I gave Abby an Aeropostale t-shirt and the Owl City CD: Ocean Eyes. Abbz had this really creative idea to give her 16 items since it was her 16th. She got the most amazing necklace in the universe, from WAL-MART! I wish I could describe it’s awesomeness! x)

I’ve been listening to Owl City for 7 straight days… And every time I listen to the album I love it even more. <3 I love the imagery and symbolism Adam Young uses in his songs.

Dia duit! (Irish for ‘hello’)

Why Irish? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve once heard that Halloween originated in Ireland.

Pumpkin carving, candy, caramel apples, chicken costumes (long story ), I’m not the biggest fan of this holiday, but I would still love to hear what you guys are doing for Halloween tonight! I will be at home, curled up on the couch in the living room, watching the Batman Marathon on ABC Family. xD I’ve never seen the movies before, so it should be cool. Not doing anything with friends this weekend, but I’m perfectly fine with that. What could make this weekend more special? Adding two more days to it! Yes, that’s right, NO SCHOOL MONDAY OR TUESDAY! On to Red Ribbon Week:

The main reason for Red Ribbon Week is for drug awareness, but we always do these bizarre things for each day.

• Monday: Crazy Hat Day

I was going to wear this hat my friends gave me that says “Foxy Grandpa” (from a Spongebob episode xD), but I was worried that no one would get it. LOL I wore a beret instead. xP French is 1st hour, everyone in my class was telling me that our teacher would freak out because I was wearing a French beret. If I haven’t told you before, that teacher is wacko. She speaks in French to us and doesn’t even tell us what she’s saying, I think she’s cussed in French as well. ROFL! And when we listened to this French Halloween song, her eyes got wide and was freakishly walking around singing to it.  She has this long last name that starts with Z, so I call her Wacko Z (not to her face of course LOL) She is not the French II teacher, which makes me happy. xD Once class started, she called me ‘the French girl’ and said something like, “Early for Halloween I see!” EXCUSE MOI? I was not dressing for Halloween!

• Tuesday: Sunglasses Day

Wore my awesome shades. ‘nough said. xP

• Wednesday: PJ Day

Just like half days, these are amazing ones as well. So comfy… I felt like falling asleep. x) I wore these fuzzy white slippers that I got for Christmas, they’re not so white on the bottoms anymore. Disgusting school floors… xD

• Thursday: Twin Day

I forgot to find my twin, sadly. HAHA

• Friday: Spirit Wear

I always forget if you’re supposed to wear your favorite sports team or your school colors… What I didn’t know was that October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we have two breast cancer survivors at school. So, we changed Friday to who could wear the most pink: 8th or 7th grade. Actually, I have no pink, so I couldn’t participate. At the end of the day, we found out that about 49% of the school wore pink: 7th grade had 180 people, and 8th grade had 182. 2 people made a difference! Weird to think about. haha

My grandmother that I was really close to died of breast cancer when I was in elementary school, and I always wanted to find a way to help out. I’ve been going to this site for a couple years, which is really cool because you can help with tons of causes for free. Bonjour tout le monde (Hello everyone )

^^One of my favorite songs right now.

I have changed my playlist to all Owl City songs, I <3 Owl City! Songs you must listen to that are on the playlist: Strawberry Avalanche, Fireflies, Rainbow Veins, Hot Air Balloon, Vanilla Twilight, and Hello Seatle, so ALL OF ‘EM! xD

This is probably the most tired I’ve been since my Sim Gaming Incident (staying up ’til 3 for days). lol! Here’s how my week(s) have been (starting Friday):

Friday (the 16th, I know, it took me forever to do this post) was the end of 1st quarter!! WOW! It went by really quick… Only 3/4 of school left. haha x) That means that it was a half day! 1/2 day = Some of the most amazing days of the school year. I have my reasons.  I went to Morgan’s with Ash, we rented The Office seasons, love that show, and decided to check up on our old obsession: Club Penguin. LOL! It was funny to see all the stuff that was different on there.

On Saturday we went to the Fall Nighter at Ash’s church. I did not succeed at staying up all night, whenever a movie starts at those types of things I have no willpower over sleep… x) Great experience, though, I really felt God’s presence. =) Some verses from the Bible that I would definitely recommend reading: Psalms 139:1-5

The last Jr. High football game was Tuesday. A Team won, B Team lost, but it was still a good game.

On Friday the National Honors Society went to a corn maze (my second time), and it was haunted! haha! I screamed. A lot. There were some REALLY creepy masks the workers were wearing… Like this one that looked like a doll. ROFL It doesn’t sound bad, but I have this strange fear of dolls/dummies. Then there were guys with chainsaws (with no blade of course xD), but it was kind of funny because one couldn’t get it started when he popped up in front of us. lol! Maris and I were clinging on to each other the whole time we were going through the darkness. “YAAAY DARKNESS!” (ugh idk what’s with me and Charlie the Unicorn quotes lately xD). EARLIER, we planned to have a dance off with the creepy people… Didn’t work out. I made Maris slide into the mud because I started running away too fast. x’D Then she made me run into a corn stalk! HAHAHA

RIGHT NOW… it’s 12:01 AM and I’m forcing myself to finish this post. I shopped til I dropped today! And…! I finally (yes, that deserves bold, italics, AND underlining xD) got Brand New Eyes!!!

WOO, amazing, love it, I can’t stop describing how amazing the cd is, since I can’t, I guess I’ll go, and I’ll stop putting all of these commas, I must really be tired, oh, and my signature is done by the wonderful Annie, NOW I will leave, possibly, ok, bye!

I’VE HAD ENOUGH!

Recently I have seen three lists of people complaining about things in their lives. I’VE HAD ENOUGH! (as I said up there) Instead of always looking at life as, ‘The glass half empty’, try looking at it as, ‘The glass half full’. xD I will be taking this time to make a complete opposite list: Things That Make Me Happy

• I’m listening to music (always a plus)
• Halfway finished with my homework
• Two weeks until the 1st quarter of school is OVA!
• Once it finishes only 1 more quarter until Christmas Break.
• Had an awesome weekend with her cousin and friends up north!
• Friends, family, everyone in my life really…
• The development of computers and other technology xD
• The person who created the trumpet,whoever that may be! haha
• Laughing/funny things
• Good food ROFL Hey, you’ve got to agree!
• Art, books, all the awesome stuff x)
• SIMS 3!!! haha xD
• My school, not the learning part exactly, but it’s weird to think if I went somewhere else I wouldn’t know anyone that I do now.

Sorry about no post on Sunday, I was a lil busier than I thought.

NEW HEADER! Give me your opinions on it. Also another new playlist, just to add in the newest color for my color scheme.

‘Night Under the Stars’ was the name of our school dance theme last Friday. Sounds cool, but it had nothing to do with the dance. You were supposed to dress casually and wear gym friendly shoes. Tell me how gym friendly shoes and stars cooperate together, I’d really appreciate hearing from you so I won’t be so confuzzled about it. xD I did not follow the casual wear, I wore a dress (not like a prom dress, k? lol) but made it more casual with jeans. haha

My opinion on the dance? IT WAS A BLAST!!! Best one yet!!! Me and some awesome buddies had this circle of dancers and we would plan what we would do for the song and it looked awesome! We danced for two hours straight, no slow dances *whew* xD The gym (it wasn’t actually under the stars LOL) got SO. HOT. It was disgusting how sweaty some guys get. HAHA! I could explain the guy stuff, but I think I’ll just stick that into my personal (and PRIVATE) blog.

Afterwards I spent the night @ Maris’… We didn’t do much except shower (it was GROSS I was so glad I was wearing black so all the sweat didn’t show ROFL), listen to music, then go to bed. We were so tired… The next day I was so sore, that was probably the most excercise I had got for a while. Like Bbfreeze says sometimes, “I sound like a lazy fatso.” xD

Saturday I went to this thing called the Corn Maze with Adam and his youth group. NO you do not pick corn (which is what my cousin thought HAHAHA). Basically, it’s this maze that you try to get through, and actually very confusing and frustrating once you get inside, but in it you must face… Obstacles of creepy people. O_o Sadly, that didn’t happen because it wasn’t haunted. xD I think Adam and I were the only ones disappointed, he apparently wanted to hear me scream, sooo sweet of him. =/ :lol: It sounds boring and stupid, but truly it’s not. So no sarcastic comments like I’ve seen before, “The date sounded… Nice.” LOL

NOW you get to know what the title of this post is all about. Well at the corn maze there was this thing called ‘The Corn Box’, which was like a huge sandbox, just full of corn (like popcorn kernels). Adam (being the weirdo that he is :P ) went inside and started kicking corn at me. This older guy comes up behind me and says, “KEEP THE CORN IN THE BOX!” LOL!!! For some reason I crack up whenever I think of that now. xD Ashlyn and Morgan were there, I forgot what Ashlyn was doing, but me and Morgan became idiots and started burying Adam in the corn. So, we came to find out that there is such thing as corn dust, he was covered with it. ROFL. It was fun, we pretty much got to act like 5 year olds again.

OH I ALMOST FORGOT AN EMBARASSING STORY… Once to Ashlyn on texting I stupidly called him my Stud Muffin HAHAHA!! On Saturday… She told him the nickname… x’D Now he’s all puffed up and proud saying, “It’s true” LOL

Blah… I should stop talking about him and put some INTERESTING stuff on here for you all. Right now I am going to be taking some page ideas into consideration, so please leave your ideas!

You might be questioning what I mean by ‘Character Camp’. Basically, it’s a “fun” day of the school year where we do “fun” activities about character, such as having respect and compassion. Thankfully 8th graders don’t have to do it, but because of my “awesome” friend Maris she tempted me into helping out. (the quotations don’t mean anything, she really is awesome xD) You miss 1st-4th hour, so it’s all good! lol

My friend Hailey and I helped out at the responsibility station. What the 7th graders would do is this: Two held a whiteboard, and the others would stack dominoes… I don’t get… How that has to do with responsibility. ROFL! Whatever, if it gets me out of class then I don’t care. xD Great, great times…

I’ve took some photos for the new header that I’m making. It will most likely be up tomorrow or next week. And yes, it will include eyes. LOL! The mysterious eye is like my blog’s signature… No matter how creepy it is to some people… Ahem. Everyone has stopped using the Chaotic Soul theme… My trend has ended. Bye-bye trend! *waves* haha!!

Not doing much this weekend. There’s a High School football game tonight, idk if I’ll come, I think it’s too late anyway. Might be going to this cool thing Ash told me about called The Stand with Adam… Depends if he can go. It’s on Sunday and there’ll be Christian bands and speakers… Sounds uplifting, and would be fun.

I feel like I should include a video… OH! I found this awesome [live] performance by Hayley Williams (from Paramore) with their single Ignorance. I <3 that song… Gonna add it to my playlist sometime. She was kind of sick while doing this… But I think she still sounds good live, unlike some artists.

Bonjour! Comment ca va? (whoever responds to this French question correctly will recieve… a sense of accomplishment.. not kidding. LOL)

I’d like to start out this post with an amazing and beautiful song that I fell in love with the other day called “Your Guardian Angel” by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (weird band name, good song).

Isn’t it just amazing?? Speaking of music, I added some more songs to my playlist, not very many, but I’m so mad because the shuffle rarely plays my fav song Panic Attack. (haha)

Yesterday (Friday) I went to the band room 4th hour. This really hyper girl named Maddy ( ) came up to me going, “We find out our chair placements today!!” So we go back and forth going, “Really?” “Really.” “Really?” “Really,” but that’s not what I was going to say! LOL So we got our pieces of paper back that said our score on the playing tests. I look at the sheet: 97%, A. Not bad, but will SG (Sassy Guy) be better? I thought. He gets his paper and quickly hides it. This one boy goes, “What’d you get–” “I’m not telling!!”

ROFL!!! That makes me relax a little bit, but I start getting really nosy, so as he secretely looks over his paper I peer at it. And he got…………

Now that I’ve been like those annoying forwards, I’ll tell you. LOL He got… 98%. Oh, silly me, switched the numbers around!

 HE GOT 89%!!!

Yaaay!!!! I was so happy. So we all compared scores to see who was first chair, and I got it! Actually, I was the only person in the trumpet section to get an A! I’m super happy now! The only thing is, we have to do a playing test with 5 of the 12 scales. Erg. It never ends. HOPEFULLY those won’t count for chair placements, I don’t want to lose the chair so quickly.

Once the day ended I went to Ashlyn’s house! We went to this nail place to get our nails done and went to her church’s craft night! I made a prayer box but the ribbon turned out to look lopsided.   Later we mostly just talked for hours (probably about 3 or 2), which is what girls do! :D I could tell you about what we talked about, but that would be too personal. haha

Hm what else… This Tuesday is the first Jr. High football game (I get to watch my man play, ROFL!!!!), but that’s about it. And the dance is Friday the 25th…

Somewhat of a short post, I’ll try to make one every week on Fridays or Saturdays.

Next week starting Tuesday, we will have our playing test for chairs… OH NO! It’s all 12 scales: Bb, Eb, Ab, Db, Gb, C, F, G, D, A, E and B Give me encouragement… I don’t want to be second to Sassy Guy.

Random story for today: After band I always have this red ring around my lips because of playing (don’t ask me why, I don’t think I press THAT hard against my mouth lol), so I got out of band and went to advisory. Adam walks up to me and I remember my red lips ( ) so I put up my hand on my mouth. He starts talking and my replies are muffled in my mouth, “Ommhmmm” xD  Weird but decided to share, since hey one person said this was like my “second diary”.

Things are a lil boring right now, but yet at the same time it’s not, ya know? Well you probably don’t, I have no way to explain it lol…

Hey peeperonis! As promised, I am making a post about August 21st and 22nd. If you haven’t already, you might wanna read the post before this, not that it’ll help you understand much, but ya know, reading expands the mind. LOL!

So on Friday my friends Ashlyn and Morgan came over and spent the night! As usual they came over and played RockBand2. This consisted of:

1. Making me deaf by loud screaming of the songs (not to mention that it was Livin on a Prayer )
2. Off beat drum beats when they played drums
3. Hearing Ash scream “I’M A FAILURRRE” whenever she was booed off stage. x’D

It sounded like we were dying in the basement!! I wonder what my parents were thinking upstairs… hahaha

Afterwards we had pizza, and I was successful because I didn’t spill anything! xD Such a great goal to accomplish.

Afterwards they made me call Adam on my phone… Oh joy. My hands shakily found his number on my contact list, thankfully it went to his voicemail. But that means I have to leave a message, even better! lol Apparently I was so quiet on the voicemail that the phone didn’t pick it up cause the thing went, “If you would like to leave a message, press #” HAHA! So I gave up and hung up.

5 seconds later… My horrid ‘Everybody Dance Now’ ringtone seems to be playing louder than usual. I answer the phone,

“Hello?”

Morgan and Ashlyn decide to give me ‘alone time’ to talk to him, so they hide in the storm room/excersize room. I come in about every five minutes with the phone muted, “WHAT DO I SAY?!” I’ve never really talked to a guy on the phone before, except when me and Ash were saying all this stupid stuff to Morgan’s ex-boyfriend, but that’s different. xD After about half an hour, Ash thinks we should plan a place to go tomorrow. She suggests mini golf. LOL! It sounds stupid, but where else can ya go except for the movies where nothing good was at the theaters? She remembers that there was one in the mall, so we planned to go there with him.

Once I hang up, they rush me upstairs to my room to pick out the outfit. (it’s a girl thing… lol) Afterwards, we watched the movie 17 Again, which was really funny btw. After the movie finished and we were chatting, I think to myself, The golf course isn’t in the mall anymore… So Ash comes up with this go kart racing track with a golf course  that’s in our town instead of the other thing. I text him about it and he says that’s ok.

Now this is where things start to get wrong… horribly wrong.

 11:50 AM- Ash, Morgan, and I arrive at the go kart track (I can’t go on dates alone yet just so you know.. lol)

12:00 PM- He’s not there when he’s supposed to be

12:05- A text from him: Where are you? Me: Over by the benches Him: What benches? (LOL!)

Turns out that he thought that we were STILL. GOING. TO. THE. MALL. *dies* I felt bad for his mom… She had to drive back and go get him and bring him here. She probably hates my guts now.

When he finally gets there, he walks up, and stares at me. Instead of going ‘hi’, I go “I’M SO SORRY I DIDN’T KNOW THAT YOU THOUGHT…” and I go on and on. xD We come up to the booth to pay for the go kart ride. Adam lets me go and I give the guy my money. He gives me a ticket, so I start walking off. He yells on the intercom loudly, “M’am you forgot your change!!!” *dies again* So once again Adam is staring at me as I come up to get my stupid change. THEN, we get in line to go on the go karts. I give the guy my ticket and walk away. And he yells, “Hey! Did you give me your ticket?” *dies… no, wait. jumps off cliff into dark pit of despair with water, pointed rocks, sharks, and pirahnas* (ROFL!) COME ON, YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. I just gave him the ticket. I think all the dudes that work there were just trying to ruin my life. Who was staring? You’ve guessed it! xD

After that whole fiasco, the date was fun. I just tried to act natural and not make it awkward, best way to do it. Morgan and Ash were sure to take pictures, so there’s this really stupid one of us that looks like the American Gothic painting, except he’s holding a golf club. Profile pic on Facebook of course!
